A town, but not far away

Hello everyone.

I thought to write a post yesterday but I do today instead. However, today I went with my mom and dad to Norrtälje, which is a town in the north of Stockholm County. It is a small town with many nice streets. This time we did not walk in the city but in the city, my mom bought some wine in ’’Systembolaget’’ which is a store that’s selling drinks with alcohol 3,5% or more, so these products you will not find in ordinary food stores in Sweden. You have to buy it on ’’Systembolaget’’.

We also got some lunch at a restaurant outside the central parts of Norrtälje, there you can order pasta, pizza, falafel, kebab and stuff, and while we sat there we saw there and we noticed that a store named ’’Överskottsbolaget’’ which is a store that you can buy many different kinds of things and also some types of food. But mostly things for that you’re using at home, both indoors and outdoors. They have a big assortment and we like it. We are shopping there much. Not really often but we think that you can find good stuff in there, so yeah, it is a good store. That store has been moved to another part of Norrtälje but it doesn’t take much time to drive because the town is not big at all, so it takes less than 10 minutes to drive. I don’t know if I have written earlier that we live in Ljusterö that is located between Norrtälje and Stockholm. To Stockholm, it takes a little bit more than one hour to drive to the city, but you can take the bus to the city but it takes one and a half hours to the city and the bus does not goes to the central parts of Stockholm, so when you are arriving at the bus terminal, you take the subway which takes 10 minutes to the central parts of Stockholm but now during the corona I and my parents have lived here in archipelago more than earlier and, to be honest, it has been so relaxing and calming because I feel that Ljusterö is a wonderful place and other people that lives here are saying it too.

Let me tell you some more about Ljusterö. It is the largest island in the Stockholm archipelago and from the city, you can take the car, the bus and the archipelago ferry. In the summer, I think over 30.000 people live here and all year round I think less than 3.000 lives here, so it is a big difference. We also lived in the city sometimes but now it doesn’t happen very often, but we are spending time here all year round and I am very happy about this because to have a house there you are just in the summer, I should not handle it, because it should be a very constant longing during the winter and the winter is very beautiful here so I’m glad too I can spend the time here during the winter. The best thing to babe here during the winter is to talk some walks and see when the surroundings are looking like a world of winter. Honesty I would describe it as ’’magical’'

When we had left I realized that I have forgotten to buy some batteries for my electric candle that I bought a while ago. So when I will go back to Norrtälje I will try to shop for some batteries. Here is a photo of one of the electric lights that I bought. I have four of these.
